भारतीय निवडणूक आयोगाच्या माध्यमातून आगामी निवडणुकांसाठी जय्यत तयारी सुरू झाली आहे. लवकरच भारतीय निवडणूक आयोग लोकसभेच्या निवडणुकांच्या तारखा जाहीर करण्याची शक्यता आहे.

निवडणुकीच्या तारखा जाहीर होतील, त्याच दिवशी देशात आचारसंहिता लागू होणार आहे. दरम्यान, आचारसंहिता लागू होण्यापूर्वीच केंद्रातील मोदी सरकारने एक मोठा मास्टर स्ट्रोक खेळला आहे.

काल, 7 मार्च 2024 रोजी झालेल्या केंद्रीय कॅबिनेटच्या बैठकीत, केंद्रीय कर्मचाऱ्यांना खुश करण्यासाठी काही महत्त्वाचे निर्णय घेतले गेले आहेत. काल पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांच्या अध्यक्षतेखाली केंद्रीय कॅबिनेटची महत्त्वाची बैठक झाली.

बैठकीत, मोदी सरकारने अनेक निर्णय घेतले. केंद्रीय कर्मचाऱ्यांसाठी शेतकऱ्यांसाठी तसेच सर्वसामान्यांसाठी काही महत्त्वाचे निर्णय घेतले गेलेत. यामध्ये केंद्रीय कर्मचाऱ्यांचा महागाई भत्ता वाढवण्याचा मोठा निर्णय घेण्यात आला आहे.

किती वाढला महागाई भत्ता ?

महागाई भत्ता 46 टक्के दराने केंद्रीय कर्मचाऱ्यांना दिला जात होता. यामध्ये जानेवारी 2024 पासून आता चार टक्के वाढ करण्यात आली आहे. अर्थात, महागाई भत्ता 50% एवढा झाला आहे.

जानेवारी 2024 पासून हा महागाई भत्ता लागू राहणार असून याचा रोखीने लाभ मार्च महिन्याच्या वेतनासोबत म्हणजेच कर्मचाऱ्यांच्या हातात एप्रिल महिन्यात जें वेतन येईल त्यासोबत मिळणार आहे.

अर्थात, जानेवारी आणि फेब्रुवारी या दोन महिन्याची महागाई भत्ता फरकाची रक्कम देखील कर्मचाऱ्यांना दिली जाणार आहे. होळी सणाच्या पूर्वीच केंद्रीय कर्मचाऱ्यांसाठी ही निश्चितच एक मोठी भेट राहणार आहे. याशिवाय प्रवास भत्ता, कॅन्टीन भत्ता आणि प्रतिनियुक्ती भत्त्यात २५ टक्के वाढ करण्यात आली.

तसेच, घर भाडे भत्ता देखील वाढवला आहे. आतापर्यंत X, Y आणि Z श्रेणीतील कर्मचाऱ्यांना अनुक्रमे २७ टक्के, १९ टक्के आणि ९ टक्के एवढा घर भाडे भत्ता दिला जात आहे. मात्र, यामध्ये तीन टक्क्यांपर्यंतची वाढ करण्यात आली आहे.

आता, अनुक्रमे ३० टक्के, २० टक्के आणि १० टक्के एवढा एचआरए सदर कर्मचाऱ्यांना लागू करण्यात आला आहे. तसेच, ग्रॅच्युईटी लाभात २५ टक्के वाढ करताना त्याची कमाल मर्यादा २० लाख रुपयांवरून २५ लाख रुपये करण्यात आली असल्याची माहिती बैठकीनंतर प्रसार माध्यमांना दिली गेली आहे.

Yesterday of course in the Union Cabinet meeting held on 7th March 2024 some important decisions have been taken to appease the Union employees. An important meeting of the Union Cabinet was held yesterday under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Modi government took many decisions in this meeting. Some important decisions have been taken for central employees, farmers as well as common people. In this, a big decision has been taken to increase dearness allowance of central employees.

How much dearness allowance increased?

Dearness allowance was being paid to central employees at the rate of 46 percent. This has been increased by four percent from January 2024. Of course, dearness allowance has become 50%.

This dearness allowance will be applicable from January 2024 and the cash benefit will be given along with the salary of March month i.e. with the salary which will be received in the hands of the employees in the month of April.

Of course, the dearness allowance difference for the two months of January and February will also be given to the employees. It will surely be a big gift for the central employees just before Holi festival. Apart from this, traveling allowance, canteen allowance and deputation allowance were increased by 25 percent.

House rent allowance has also been increased. So far the house rent allowance of 27 per cent, 19 per cent and 9 per cent is being given to X, Y and Z category employees respectively. However, this has been increased to three percent.

Now HRA of 30 percent, 20 percent and 10 percent respectively has been applied to the said employees. Also, after the meeting, information has been given to the media that the gratuity benefit has been increased by 25 percent from Rs 20 lakh to Rs 25 lakh.
